CVS Health RX Automation Electronics Technician in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Description

Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, change control, testing and process improvement of prescription dispensing and fulfillment systems, processes and equipment. Additionally, will work with the facility utility systems (HVAC, water, sewer and electric) and facility production support systems (compressed air, UPS, backup generators). Prescription dispensing and fulfillment equipment may include semi-automatic processes up to highly automated blister packaging equipment. Critical processes will be validated and operate under the regulatory statutes and enforced by State Boards of Pharmacy, FDA or DEA agencies. Responsible with completing and maintaining accurate documentation in strict accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s) and site policies.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls aspects of factory automation systems.3+ years of experience working with 3-phase, 480-volt electrical systems. 3+ years of experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) troubleshooting experience. Must be willing to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with robotics systems. Familiarity with Adept and GE Fanuc robots is highly desirable.Experience with any work-order based preventive maintenance management system.A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Associate degree in technology with 3 years of related experience or 7 years of hands-on experience as an electrical, mechanical, equipment or instrumentation technician, troubleshooting PLC’s, motion control, and/or automated equipmentFamiliarity with the National Electrical Code

Education

Associates Degree in technology or equivalent, including military technical training.Degree may be in Electronics, industrial technology, biomed technology or related field.
