Position Summary:

Based on experience and education, new hires in this position are expected to start between $17.30-$18.05 an hour

As a Distribution/ Dispensing Clerk you will be a key member of our fulfillment department within our Pharmacy Dispensing Facility. Your goal, as a Distribution Clerk, is to maximize efficiency and productivity in the packing area to ensure patient orders are accurately getting shipped. As a Distribution Clerk you would be responsible for performing the daily functions of shipping/packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures such as (e.g. cold packing, single bagging, control room and bulk packing)

Additional responsibilities of the Distribution Clerk:

-To assist the pharmacists in the Quality Control area

-Assemble and package customer orders for shipment

-Prepare medication orders for shipment with the appropriate carrier

-Assist with stocking supplies and other tasks associated with the department

-Work independently and as a member of a team

Career growth opportunity: During your time at CVS as a Distribution/ Dispensing Clerk you will be exposed to opportunities which will allow you to be promoted into a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Schedules:

1. Sunday 2pm to 12:30am, Monday, Tuesday, & Friday 3pm to 1:30am

2. Sunday 2pm to 12:30am, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 3pm to 1:30am

Required Qualifications:

-3+ months experience professional working on a computer

-Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, walk and lift up to 40 pounds.

-Ability to stand for 95% of work shift.

-Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.

• Regular and predictable attendance.

• You will be required to work mandatory overtime/ extended work week when necessary to the business.

• Travel when needed (minimal).

Preferred Qualifications

-6+ months of warehouse experience or similar environment.

-Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$16.00 - $28.84

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
