Lowe's Sr Analyst-Promo Strategy in Mooresville, North Carolina

Your Impact

The Sr. Analyst of Promo Strategy will work with campaign teams to develop actionable quarterly promotional plans using the GTM calendar, promo and pricing frameworks, prior event/offer performance and competitive insights. These plans are then cascaded to the relevant category and promotional planning teams for planning with merchandising in quarterly planning sessions. This position is responsible for ensuring Lowe's top planned promotions for DIY and Pro are appropriately captured, aggregated, summarized and communicated to campaign teams and other marketing stakeholders. This role is charged with continuously monitoring the competitive promotional landscape and recommending pivots / adjustments to the plan based on findings. Largely, the Sr. Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining artifacts needed for quarterly promo planning and execution including the aggregated promo calendar, weekly top promo / doorbuster item lists and the systems required to support promotional planning and downstream execution. This position has to know how to best represent the work with key stakeholders - especially the campaign team, finance and other internal marketing partners.

What you will do

•Leads the development and maintenance of the artifacts needed for quarterly promotional planning and execution including: top promo and doorbuster recommendations, the aggregated promo calendar, weekly top promo / doorbuster item lists (for all / for some) and the systems required to support promotional planning and downstream execution.

•Analyzes and interprets complex promotional, competitive, and category data and provides leadership with clear actionable insights that will drive plan development (top promo/doorbuster lists).

•Advises finance, campaign teams and DACI about the promotional measurements plans to ensure cross-functional alignment and understanding.

•Monitors competitive landscape for top categories, top offers, and key competitor’s promo plans and presents a weekly summary of data driven opportunities and setbacks to leadership.

•Cascades promotional direction and strategies created by the Promo Strategy Leadership team to other relevant category/promo planning teams.

•Identifies opportunities for new/different promo innovation. Works with Manager to prioritize opportunities for test and learn.

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree Marketing or relevant field

•3+ years Marketing, merchandise or related experience

•1+ years' experience running a P&L or working alongside P&L owners

•1+ years working cross functionally
