Senior Financial Analyst, Marketing Analytics

Job Summary:

As the Senior Financial Analyst for Marketing & Loyalty Program Insights, your primary responsibility is to leverage our data warehouses to work in large data environments and curate to provide insights to our customer marketing organization. You will leverage data-driven insights to enhance customer targeting strategies, customer trends in our loyalty programs and make actionable recommendations to the customer marketing team. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise as well as strong data mining and organization skills.

Your Impact:

The primary purpose of this role is to leverage customer data to drive rapid and real time insights to our customer marketing team. This role drives value by enabling improvements within our loyalty programs. With a focus specifically on Customer Analytics Implementation, this role provides advanced data capture capabilities to support long term strategy of our marketing programs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

  • 3 years of experience in finance or analytical role with a public company, public accounting or related experience

  • Experience with financial forecasting or analytic modeling and report automation

  • Experience in structuring and writing formal documents, developing and delivering group presentations, project planning, and/or cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s OR Master's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data or Information Sciences, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

  • 3 years of analytic experience spanning areas such as Marketing and customer functions

  • Demonstrate ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and identify business opportunities.

  • Programming experience and data science using tools

  • Experience supporting retail loyalty programs

  • Experience in home improvement retail

  • Experience with analytical tools like SQL

  • Experience performing advanced data modeling, data mining and exploratory data analysis

  • Experience translating business requirements into analytics models

  • Experience working cross-functionally
