Lowe's Operations Development Analyst - XDT in Mooresville, North Carolina

What You Will Do

The primary purpose of the Operation Development Analyst is to provide support, analysis and insights that help identify the key performance drivers with Final Mile Delivery functions. Activities include creating and maintaining strategic projects that enable final mile solutions to execute customer deliveries on time and with excellence and providing comprehensive support of final mile and delivery operations.

*On-site role located in Mooresville, NC, requires at least 50% travel. *

Responsibility Statements

• Continuous Improvement - optimize final mile delivery networks to improve efficiency and increase service levels with both 3PLs and company fleets and drivers.

•Responsible for:

-Following best analytical practices

-Accurate reporting, analyzing results

-Identifying insights for sounds decision making

• Training XDT/Store leadership, associates on process and system enhancement.

• Manages and proactively monitors all time sensitive issues impacting Stores, Market and Cross Dock Delivery Terminals.

• Ability to quickly prioritize mission-critical work activities from less important ones. This includes sensing what the next, most useful item to work on is, while focusing on the critical few tasks that add value.

• Communicates effectively with stores, XDT, and third-party providers to ensure information is obtained or disseminated timely and properly.

• Provides support for the implementation and execution of action plans related to compliance, safety, and accountability enterprise wide.

• Works in systems to gather delivery data and claims, customer complaints, and data voice of the customer (VOC) to identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand all components of fulfillment and communicates regarding efforts that directly impact other areas of the enterprise.

What you Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 2 years of experience in handling store/field support questions and solving business problems.

• 2 years of high competency computer skills including MS Office, BI, and databases applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA Rules, DOT compliance and Fleet Safety.

•Experience with training and presenting new information to associates.
