Job Summary :

The Supply Chain Operations Development Analyst optimizes inventory flow through the supply chain network by understanding, monitoring, and controlling flow parameters and network capacities through close partnerships with supply, storage, delivery, transportation, stores, legal, real estate, and vendor partners and the development of advanced planning tools. 1. Achieve required inventory flow 2. Minimize supply chain incremental costs.

The Operations Development Analyst will execute/manage internal tools and monitor results, alerting Supply Chain management to trends or conditions that may adversely impact Supply Chain operations. Recognize and recommend development opportunities through this process as well.

Travel requirement: 75%

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and execute data collection and analysis to evaluate logistic plans and workflows for supply, transport, delivery, distribution, and stores.

• Lead or participate in (depending on project size) the documentation of functional requirements for approved projects. Interface with other groups in Supply Chain as needed to determine cross-functional impacts.

• Have an active role in developing and maintaining formalized project plans for current development projects.

• Design, develop, and monitor functional solutions and reporting tools in MS Access and/or Excel to alert managers to trends or conditions that may adversely impact Supply Chain operations.

• Provide regular project status updates to management and business stakeholders via status reports (smaller efforts) or project update meetings.

• Test completed functionality and provide training (handbook or classroom) to end users as needed.

• Provide support to active databases and spreadsheets to include normal troubleshooting (and improvements to existing solutions as assigned).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Related Field

• High School or GED

• 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations with a bachelor’s degree; or related field

• 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations and Project Management

• 2 years of experience in forecasting, replenishment planning or inventory management, in high velocity industry
