Business Process Designer - RPA
Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to lead process design sessions with key stakeholders by applying knowledge of business process analysis and modeling to identify current state gaps and develop process improvement solutions, including Robotics Process Automation (RPA). This includes responsibility for the development of current and future state business process design, including the project plan, business resources needed, new process design, and key performance indicators. The role contributes to multiple strategic initiatives, productivity efforts, and projects to take cost out of the organization.
Leads process discovery and design sessions with key stakeholders by applying knowledge of business process analysis and modeling to identify current gaps.
Develops detailed current and future state design, flows, and exceptions.
Support process managers in identifying and vetting process improvement/automation opportunities.
Develop and deliver training to end users based on future state design.
Applies various process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively execute a scope of work within a project.
Communicates results of process design sessions to the larger team to assess next steps and opportunities for process improvement.
Assist and coordinates the process of data collection, setting standards and key performance indicators for each program or process improvement project with business managers and architects.
Manages relationships with business partners to help them understand business cases and to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the enterprise.
Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Operations or related field AND 2+ Years of Experience in related industry OR 4-6 years of experience in related industry in lieu of degree
4-6 years of experience in business process improvement, business process management, or process operations (P&Ps, SOPs)
Effective personal and interpersonal skills
Effective listening and communication skills across mid-level management and business area teams
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt trained or accredited certification equivalent
Experience in retail or supply chain operations
Experience with gathering and documenting business requirements for technology implementation
Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) end-to-end project implementation and tools (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, etc.)
