You will be an important element of our over-the-top platform team. As such, working closely with the product owners, architects and technical managers, your role is to ensure the smooth execution of product development and coordinate the technical work required to deliver requested features, while adhering to the standards and practices agreed to by the development management team.

How you will make an impact:

  • Design and/or modify reusable components for Radio-Canada’s digital platforms.

  • Design and/or modify presentation APIs in conjunction with back-end specialists and architects.

  • Ensure compliance with standards and monitor product quality throughout the project.

  • Keep up with the latest trends in the various digital development fields.

  • Be proactive and suggest solutions to challenges that arise.

  • Participate in Agile Scrum activities in order to review progress on projects in production and make the necessary corrections/adjustments, or to gauge the results of completed projects.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • University or college degree/diploma or equivalent experience

  • Five (5) or more years’ relevant experience

  • Proficiency with JavaScript

  • Proficiency or experience with React Native

  • Proficiency or experience with React

  • Experience with TypeScript

  • Experience with GraphQL/Apollo

  • Experience with Xcode/Android Studio

  • Experience with Swift or Objective-C is an asset

  • Experience with Java or Kotlin is an asset

  • At least one React Native app published in the App Store and/or Google Play is an asset

  • Performance optimization experience

  • Experience with accessibility standards

  • Experience with an Agile methodology

  • Diligence, independence and resourcefulness

  • Analytical and conceptual mind

  • Excellent ability to manage stress and priorities

  • Critical mind

  • Flexibility, initiative and drive

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Solid command of French

  • Working knowledge of spoken and written English is an asset.

Please note this is a 12-month contract position, renewable annually.
