This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Your role

The Senior Analyst partners with key stakeholders to build trust and support their audience and data analysis needs in order to drive more data-informed decisions. This role involves not only technical and analytical expertise, but also relationship management and tactical support skills, with the aim of creating a direct impact on the performance of various initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis and make relevant audience recommendations to assist stakeholders in meeting their tactical activation needs.

  • Create and maintain audiences in data management platforms (CDP/DMP) and data clean rooms.

  • Work with marketing, product and revenue teams to use and optimize audience data.

  • Assist with marketing planning based on audience insights.

  • Work with sales teams to provide them with audience insights and recommendations so that they can develop more relevant proposals for clients.

  • Work with the Big Data team on data ingest and standardization initiatives and with the Data Synchronization team on data gathering.

  • Present your analysis and recommendations to a varied audience that may include product managers, strategists, marketing/communications managers and sales reps.

  • Produce and maintain dashboards with Power BI to provide standalone access to analysis results in an automated way.

  • Build and maintain long-term trust with stakeholders by being constantly attentive to their needs and providing them with tailored solutions.

  • Produce ad hoc documentation to support teams (reports, presentations, Confluence documentation, etc.).

  • Monitor changes in the data source structure that could impact our data gathering.

  • Pay special attention to privacy laws and policies.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Three or more years’ experience in a similar position

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (business intelligence, economics, IT, e-commerce, etc.).

  • Proficient knowledge of data management platforms (DMP/CDP) and their APIs (Lotame and BlueConic, an asset).

  • Proficient knowledge of at least one programming language associated with data analysis, ideally SQL or Python (pandas).

  • Good knowledge of Power BI (visual design, DAX).

  • Proficient knowledge of web analytics measurement tools (Google/Adobe Analytics and A/B test platforms).

  • Proficient knowledge of web tagging tools and apps (Google Tag Manager).

  • Knowledge of advertising platforms (Google Ad Manager, Meta, etc.).

  • Experience with data clean rooms an asset.

  • Expertise in marketing and Canadian media.

  • Ability to work as a team player.

  • Interest in digital and emerging technologies.

  • Familiarity with Radio-Canada platforms and content an asset.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) required.
