Your role

As Project Manager within Marketing & Communications’ Creative and Brand Strategy team, you will be responsible for managing publicity and promotion creative projects for the ICI TOU.TV platform in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Design and Content Creation – Entertainment.

You will plan, manage and co-ordinate the creation and production of internal and external publicity campaigns, as well as various marketing communications projects related to the ICI TOU.TV platform. You will implement creative briefs and strategies for each project assigned to you, follow up with the project’s creative team and ensure alignment with Radio-Canada marketing and brand objectives. You will have a grasp of the digital advertising environment as well as of storytelling techniques used in audiovisual productions for linear broadcasting channels and social platforms. Projects must also be carried out in compliance with standards, policies, approved budgets and timelines, as well as collective agreements covering talent and other employees.

Key responsibilities:

  • Recommend, develop, plan and implement effective, innovative creative strategies for the projects assigned to you.

  • Ensure the consistency and compliance of all promotion and publicity pieces associated with a given project.

  • Oversee the development by the creative team of visual, audio, video and digital productions in alignment with the marketing objectives and brand identity of Radio-Canada, its platforms and content.

  • Co-ordinate all manner of Creative and Brand projects, ensuring their quality as well as their adherence to standards, deadlines, budgets and other conditions.

  • Discuss issues with project participants, recommend alternatives and follow up on project progress or changes.

Please note that this is a One (1)-Year contract position with a possibility of extension.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or substantial equivalent experience, in communications, publicity, design or a related field

  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working in an advertising and/or digital environment with involvement in creative strategy

Skills:

  • Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize projects

  • Knowledge of and passion for brands and branding

  • Extensive knowledge of the digital advertising market

  • Familiarity with social media and keen interest in innovation and the digital space

  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff and management

  • Ability to be versatile, flexible, independent and adaptable to change

  • Excellent organizational skills, diligence, tact and team-playing attitude

  • Excellent command of spoken and written French; English an asset

  • Ability to work on several large projects at the same time

  • Proven ability to engage teams and foster teamwork

  • Ability to work effectively in a tight-deadline environment

  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive) and Jira
