Description and Requirements

As an Sr. SMB Sales Representative for Lenovo, you will sell Lenovo products, services, and solutions to clients through outbound phone calls and engaging correspondence. Your core product with focus around our IDG (Intelligent Device Group). The IDG at Lenovo houses our PC and Smart Devices. We combine investment in high-growth segments (workstations, gaming, visuals, thin and light devices) with new innovation in the smart device categories and continue to explore new opportunities across AR/VR, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security and as-a-service solutions.

The ideal Sr. SMB Sales Representative will be professional, goal-oriented, articulate and possess sound phone and writing skills. An infectious personality with the desire to overachieve on all goals is necessary. The Sr. SMB Sales Representative will work with acquisition, development, and retention accounts in the small to medium business space. The SMB Sales Representative will have sole ownership of their book of accounts; and will have sole responsibility to exceed revenue, profit, and services targets. The SMB Sales Representative will also be tightly aligned with Lenovo's strategic business partners and will be expected to drive a significant amount of their revenue growth by leveraging the channel and the various channel incentive programs.

Day to day responsibilities include the following: uncovering opportunities, providing the benefits of Lenovo products, and selling against the competition. The right candidate will champion the innovative power of our products by driving sales with key customers to achieve revenue and profitability objectives. They will configure, price, negotiate and quote sales solutions as well as provide, initiative-taking follow-up, product information and overall account support via effective communication skills. As the SMB Sales Representative, you will sell Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning products and help to develop strategies that help new and existing customers find and implement the best solutions for their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build complex sales strategy to ensure both long and short-term goals, objectives, and quotas are met.

  • Develop and cultivate client relationships with both new and existing customers while achieving revenue objectives.

  • Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.

  • Ensure that products, services, and solutions recommended to clients will fulfill their needs.

  • Work within corporate initiatives including weekly forecast and opportunity management to reach high-performance goals.

  • 5-10% Travel Expected

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional inside or outside sales experience in a technology field or IT industry

  • Strong English/French writing and communication skills required

Preferred Requirements:

  • Self-confident, initiative-taking, assertive, and positive attitude.

  • Acquisition selling skills and relationship building mindset.

  • Ability to plan strategically, grow SOW, and improve profitability.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative.

  • Executive presentation skills on hardware and services portfolios

This position will work a hybrid schedule out of our Montreal office. Three days on-site and two days work-from-home.*
