Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Vue.js web platform. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the user interface for our user portal, which allows users to manage their accounts, profiles, and purchase subscriptions to entertainment services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive and performant UI components using Vue.js.

  • Collaborate closely with the design and product team to implement designs and features.

  • Actively participate in defining RESTful API contracts with the backend team to improve the overall system.

  • Ensure code quality and UI consistency. You will contribute to the implementation and improvement of automated tests at all levels of the application.

  • Understand and address pain points in our application for our users, using tools like New Relic.

  • Debug and resolve technical issues.

  • Participate in code and process documentation.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest frontend development technologies and trends.

Critical Qualifications

  • Solid experience in frontend development with Vue.js (at least 2 years).

  • Mastery of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • In-depth knowledge of Webpack and other frontend development tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Strong adaptability and a keen curiosity to understand user needs and challenges related to the evolving application.

  • Solid understanding of automated testing principles and testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Vue.js 3.

  • Experience with other frontend frameworks (React, Angular).

  • Knowledge of web application design and architecture principles.

  • Experience with monitoring and analytics tools (New Relic).

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and API contract definition.

  • Knowledge of agile development practices.
