KPMG Coordinator – Administrative Services in Montreal, Canada

Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

What you will do

Day-to-day work with the administrative services team (office space and store, purchasing, reception, mail, printing, scanning and archiving, storekeeper).

Support and replace team members during vacations, absences, breaks, etc.; particularly at the Quebec head office reception desk (reception, conference center room management and call answering).

Coordination with external suppliers, including follow-up and renewal of agreements

Inventory tracking and purchasing for KPMG's Quebec offices (peripherals, office supplies)

Point of contact for operational requests and collaboration on premises maintenance

Support in analyzing and estimating costs related to operations

Maintenance of various reports and analyses

What you bring to the role

You have a college diploma and 2 - 4 years' relevant experience

Relevant experience in high-quality customer service (internal and external)

You have good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels of the firm in French and English (English is required for this position to communicate with our internal and external stakeholders within the firm and outside Quebec especially for front desk replacements)

Excellent skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, and the ability to learn to use a variety of the firm's other software and operating systems

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and thoroughness in work performed

Tact, discretion and sound judgment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while having the desire and ability to work as part of a team with a strong emphasis on involvement, collaboration, customer service and results.

Ability to recognize problems at an early stage, and to research and present solutions in order to resolve them effectively

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet different deadlines, and to change direction quickly as workflow needs change

Maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive projects and communications
