This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Infrastructure Services Analyst III is part of the Cargill Protein business’s Egg Segment. This position will be responsible for IT software and hardware oversight at Monticello and Big Lake MN, Lake Odessa MI, and Mason City IA production facilities as well as the Monticello corporate offices. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the information technology development group and the egg business to develop and implement new systems and enhance existing systems.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate partnering and cross functional collaboration across information technology teams for the eggs segment.

  • You will be the voice of IT within the plants providing “White Glove Service” including creation and escalation of tickets, coordinating power outages, participating in Major Incidents, and patching at the sites.

  • Review and perform purchasing, designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining operating and support system equipment and software while assessing business impact of all requested changes. Maintain support documentation such as diagrams, and inventory lists for all facilities.

  • Implement short and long term information technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

  • Contribute to infrastructure design and work with enterprise architecture to execute on existing technology architecture and systems solutions. You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Able and willing to travel up to 30% to the following production facilities: Monticello and Big Lake MN, Lake Odessa MI, and Mason City IA; as well as the Monticello, MN corporate offices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Zabbix and or Infoquest

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience managing site IT systems

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
