Canadian Tire Senior Digital Analytics Implementation Developer in Mobile Location Ontario [F009], Canada
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Analytics Implementation, the Senior Digital Analytics Implementation specialist is part of the team responsible for the digital data handling and management for all CTC digital properties. This team oversees tagging in Google Analytics, automated analytics validation and we also conduct in-depth analysis as well as provide technical expertise to support senior executives and digital teams across the organization.
With GA4, server-side technologies, and cookie deprecation all on the horizon, it is the most exciting time to be in the Digital Analytics space and our team is at the forefront of it all.
In this role, you'll:
Design and build digital analytics measurement frameworks based on business objectives from multiple stakeholders for main CTC’s 3 main digital properties -CanadianTire.ca, SportChek.ca, Marks.com
Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders from front-end developers to senior executives.
Implement and maintain tracking on websites and Mobile Apps through Google Analytics 360 and Firebase
Perform both manual and automated validation of new and existing analytics deployments
Deploy and maintain 3rd party pixels for analytics and marketing
Project management with IT, marketing, and business stakeholders
What you bring
Have 4+ years of experience in E-commerce, Consulting, Analytical or Information Technology roles
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
3+ years of experience in tag management solutions such as Google Tag Manager, Dynamic Tag Manager, or Tealium is ideal
Understanding of how the web works (network requests, etc.)
Confident with debugging code in a web browser
Define and execute test cases to perform QA
Experience with SQL, Python, or another programming language is a bonus
Familiarity with data intelligence/visualization platforms such as Looker, Google Datastudio, Tableau, or other similar tools is valuable, but not necessary
