On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) combines the expertise of operational, technological, delivery and service transformation professionals who connect and empower our people and customers through innovative service experiences. The incumbent will join a dynamic team, which is accountable to deliver solutions for customers helping Sales, IT, Network, Product and Service Transformation teams

As part of the Service Transformation team, the Solution Architect (SARC) will play a key role in the Bell Business Market new products introduction (NPI) programs and AGB transformation program. This SARC will contribute to strategic goals and objectives alignment across initiatives by positioning and analyzing those within the organization’s integrated view: customer experience, products and services, partners / suppliers, organization, end-to-end value streams, capabilities, key business and IT initiatives and IT architecture. The SARC will collaborate closely with operational teams, Customer Custom Deals, User Experience, Product, Network, Marketing and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for innovation to maintain the transformation roadmap and keep abreast of internal business capabilities, systems and products;

• Strong advocate for innovation and transformation;

• Develop and optimize tools for Infrastructure services operations groups and/or for pre-sales operational and technical assessments;

• Build automated test plans;

• Understand customer experience map and where it would fit within the program (dependencies, risks);

• Build the financial business case for each optimization project;

• Align all internal stakeholders specific to the solution and receive sign-offs;

• Identify risks and recommended mitigations;

• Consolidate project, assumptions and dependencies.

Critical Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Telecom and/or IT Operations;

• University degree in a related field or equivalent experience;

• Ability to prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks, directly or indirectly related to deliverables, in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision;

• Follow a SAFe Agile Methodology to complete project management;

• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies;

• Experience using JQL/SQL to extract and explore large data sets, cleansing data, and mining insights;

• Background in data analytics (statistical analysis, quantitative and qualitative modelling);

• Having the capability and passion to continuously learn different programming languages;

• Willing to learn and adopt security by design in all of your development work;

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word;

• PMP certification (or associate certification with an understanding of how to manage a project);

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills at all levels of the organization, including the ability to communicate and explain appropriately the technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
