Summary

The Acquisition Marketing Team is looking for an experienced strategic marketer to manage marketing programs within our retail channels. This unique opportunity offers ownership of marketing activities and direct partner management of key retail affiliates.

As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you will collaborate and work cross functionally with other marketers, as well as channel and retail partners, to develop and execute marketing strategies designed to drive sales and revenue for the company. You will lead the development and implementation of marketing plans, and provide insight and direction to help build, maintain and expand campaign and brand elevation in retail channels.

This portfolio requires a high degree of collaboration, attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage relationships of all levels, as part of a high-performing team passionate about driving shared objectives forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end to end marketing for select retail channels, leading prioritization, planning, and strategy of elevated assets

  • Drive sales and revenue growth in portfolio for consumer wireless and wireline products and services

  • Contribute to campaign creation & manage execution; create insightful briefs for creative teams that consider the most appropriate elevation tactics, manage internal and external stakeholders, and deliver campaign reporting

  • Build and maintain strong relationships cross functionally, as well as with key retail partners; collaborate with cross-functional teams including other marketer, channel enablement, channel execution, and retail sales teams to drive competitive marketing messaging in retail channels

  • Be the marketing lead for key strategic retailers, identifying opportunities and driving sales

  • Manage execution through all internal processes ensuring they are organized and on track

  • Report on campaign performance, drive strategic insight and provide regular marketing recaps to partners highlighting successes, opportunities and making recommendations to drive business

  • Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities or improve existing strategies to maximize activations

  • Create compelling and strategic marketing presentations to obtain buy-in and alignment with executives and key stakeholders

Critical Qualifications

  • 3+ years marketing experience, telecommunications experience and/or university degree an asset

  • Strategic and results-oriented with strong analytical skills. An aptitude for data and insights with abilities to analyze data to provide key insights to inform marketing decisions,

  • Proactive, resourceful, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently, and manage time and multiple tasks/deadline/deliverables at once

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and build and maintain strong relationships

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects and move quickly in a fast-paced ever-evolving competitive environment

  • Quick learner with high energy and creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environment
