This individual will be a key member of the Employer and Individual (E&I) Marketing and Sales Enablement Team.

Individual will be responsible for working closely with Regional Marketing Directors to plan, develop and implement effective media strategies/plans. The strategies/plans will work in concert to support local health plan marketing approaches that deliver high quality programs and results. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of digital media, competitive landscapes and nuances between local markets. To be effective in this role, the individual will be adept at working with cross-functional teams who excel at building relationships, consensus building and can meaningfully contribute to trend analysis. Leverages full capability of national marketing team to deliver local and client-based solutions with a clear focus on results and speed-to-market.

Individual will be accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with B2C campaign marketers to understand the campaign strategy and writes digital media briefs

  • Coordinates with media strategy, campaign planning calendar and manages digital media campaign execution/set-up tasks

  • Briefs and communicates with internal and external campaign owner, media teams (and creative) – main POC for all campaign media needs

  • Traffics creative (& legal review) process and coordinates assets to media teams while keeping RMDs informed of progress

  • Works with various E&I business partners (including E&I Digital & Data team) to define/develop/request campaign set-up & reporting approach (e.g. tags, CIDs, Marketo IDs, lead routing, etc.) – ensuring media teams & other partners are aligned

  • Coordinates with campaign marketers to partner with Data & Analytics & Media teams on media scenario planning, budget allocations & performance analysis – responsible for holistic plan channel allocations/strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct experience in media planning 

  • 3+ years of marketing experience within a matrix organization

  • Experience working across media agency and in house teams

  • Experience in working in B2C marketing and media

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years project management experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment

  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating organization skills

  • 3+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables

  • 3+ years of experience influencing and collaborating with others

  • Healthcare, financial services or consumer product experience

  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
