As the Transaction Documentation Manager , you will work hand in hand with the legal team to create, revise, and finalize all necessary documents for syndication closings. The Syndications Documentation Manager will streamline the operations process by performing at a high level of efficiency and accuracy, which in turn will reduce the overall time it takes to close syndication transactions while demonstrating operational excellence to our investors. They will work closely and collaboratively with the legal, credit, pricing, and operations groups to resolve open issues which would otherwise prevent timely syndication of deals.

A Day in the Life

  • Draft, review, revise, finalize, and ensure timely execution of all documents required for syndications closings

  • Coordinate with operations, credit, pricing, sales, and internal and external counsel to resolve outstanding issues

  • Create and maintain reports relating to pending and closed syndication transactions

  • Update investor documentation templates

  • Prepare documentation for new investors including purchase and sale agreements and related trust documents

  • Administrative support functions including notarizing, scanning, and mailing of documents relating to syndication closings

  • Maintain database of executed syndication documents and final drafts

  • Prepare redlines as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in loan documentation, preferably in a banking or financial services environment

  • Continuous Improvement mindset to review existing processes and procedures, develop and propose alternative solutions, and execute on those plans once directed to do so

  • Must be a notary or be willing to become a notary

  • Lending, banking, or legal experience a plus

  • Experience with DocuSign, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and related programs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the individual to successfully work with all levels of staff and management, as well as outside counsel and investors

The hiring base salary range for this position is $94,200 - $129,600 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
