Job Description

The Law Division’s Legal Operations Team is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Communications, Engagement and Learning, to develop and implement strategies that equip Law Division team members with the information, resources and connections they need to thrive in their roles. With three primary areas of focus – communications, onboarding and learning – they will lead efforts to share important information, create opportunities for connection and learning, and support an inclusive environment. They will stay abreast of U.S. Bank and external partner programs and seek opportunities for collaboration to advance the goals and priorities of the Law Division and U.S. Bank while making a positive impact on the legal community. Key aspects of this role include written communications and programmatic planning and execution; developing and delivering programs for new team members; launching and leading learning initiatives; and evaluating efforts, ensuring their effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Key contributor to Law Division communications and learning thought leadership, strategy, planning and implementation

  • Lead development and delivery of several communication and learning activities. Measure effectiveness of efforts, and take action based on results.

  • Work with teams across the Law Division to support and promote a cohesive offering of learning, development and advancement opportunities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners in U.S. Bank and collaborate to advance Law Division goals

  • Support the success and impact of Law Division programs

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 10 years related experience

  • Have experience in a law firm, in house legal group, or banking industry

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate for influence

  • Experience with employee engagement programs including onboarding, orientation, and/or mentorship

  • Strong understanding of and experience with adult learning strategies and practices; familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

  • Experience in managing projects and engaging and leading teams from start to finish, including planning, executing, measuring, and closing projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization including senior management

  • Ability to think strategically and recommend/implement tactics to achieve goals

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Teams and SharePoint

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
