Job Description

Manages projects related to performance development and improvement in assigned business area within Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (WCIB) at U.S. Bank. Engages in strategic business projects end-to-end to gain a deep understanding of business process and related strategic priorities. Designs programs that enable adoption of new business process and change initiatives within the assigned business area. Develops knowledge management tools and strategies to enhance learning, retention, and employee performance. Participates in identification, design, development, and implementation of initiatives, including communication, training, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with business line leaders to develop performance enablement programs and interventions designed to support critical business objectives.

  • Delivers impactful educational experiences and resources that empower team members for role success, including identification and assessment of learning needs and the selection and design of performance improvement deliverables.

  • Works to deliver consistent change management experiences that eliminate gaps and improve employee performance.

  • Contributes to the development of and supports deployment for strategic communications related to project goals.

  • Tracks the effectiveness of implemented solutions and measure progress towards performance goals, and leverages data to drive continuous improvements to existing and new programs.

  • Develops effective feedback loops to promote continuous improvement.

  • Prepares reports and presentations to communicate results of designed programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management, performance improvement, and/or instructional design

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Proficiency in using technology tools, including learning management and eLearning authoring tools, to support change management and performance improvement. (HIGHLY PREFERRED).

  • Knowledge of organizational development, learning, and change management

  • Proficiency in assessing performance gaps and developing strategies to close them

  • Competency in setting performance-based objectives

  • Proficiency in developing and conducting training programs

  • Ability to coach and mentor employees to increase productivity

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design processes

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop recommendations

  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

  • Ability to work independently while proactively maintaining clear lines of communication with managers and key stakeholders

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
