Job Purpose and Impact

The Product Owner Associate Director will lead a cross functional team of experienced professionals to develop customer driven products and solutions through an agile delivery model. In this role, you will deliver results to our customers, acting as a collaborative partner within multiple teams to continuously improve the way we work.

Key Accountabilities


  • Lead and provide direction to the product development team to ensure success of each project phase.

  • Manage the backlog of requests to define and evaluate product and process requests that will be implemented by agile product development teams.

  • Lead communications with business and function partners across the company to uncover business needs and deliver optimal solutions.

  • Develop and implement minimum viable product and product increments to deliver capabilities in alignment to the business value and consider the end user value.

  • Provide guidance on scalability and global implementation of product and process capabilities to product leaders across the regions to optimize the integrated operation.

  • Advise and provide counsel to the leadership team and multiple partners on the enterprise or group business operations.

  • Develop and sustain processes of related products to ensure an effective, efficient and competitive plant organization and operations footprint that enable the short and long term performance objectives of the business.

  • Contribute to the environment and sustainability goals of the organization while driving the implementation and visibility of best practices, processes and continuous improvement related to the product across the enterprise or group.

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in product development


  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree

  • Three years of supervisory experience

  • Proven experience in project management and leading product development teams

  • Subject matter authority in areas of supply chain, operations and customer facing roles

  • Experience with agile methods and related tools
