Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating, organizing and supervising production process methods and engineering activities that enable production. This includes sustaining engineering, new product launch processes and continuous improvement activities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plans which improve operations competitiveness.

Where is the work: This position has been designated as onsite .

Responsibilities:

  • Provide yearly maintenance plans for equipment and machine

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery.

  • Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

  • In charge of upgrades equipment and machine to increase productivity and functionality.

  • Perform regular tests to new and existing equipment and machinery to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality.

  • Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing.

  • Find more the activities for cost reduction.

  • Supervise technicians which include hiring and training new team member

  • Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology

  • Assumes responsibility for Capital planning, CER creations and Approvals, Capital Project Timing and Implementation, Capital Spending and Budgeting/ Assumes responsibility for Plant VA/VE Savings

  • Ensures all equipment meets OSHA compliant safety regulations

  • Drives engineering principles and discipline through mentoring, training and project reviews including: PFMEA, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Dynamic Control Plans (DCP), Lean Tools, Project Management and Simultaneous Engineering

  • Manages, develops and improves manufacturing standards including: machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.

  • Work with machine builders to confirm new equipment meets design requirements and performs as expected

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years of experience

  • Intermediate level computer & analytical skills (MS Office, Oracle, SAP, etc…)

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
