The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is looking for a manager who wants to make a difference in the Federal Reserve Systems National IT functions.
In this role, you will have leadership responsibility for a team comprised of a trainer, technical analysts and workforce analysts that provide support to our Tier I and II IT teams. You and your team will provide support for day-to-day efficient and effective operations, workforce planning, training, analytical and large-scale project/initiative support. You will be expected to partner with not only the operations teams but also product teams to facilitate cooperative relationships. In addition, you’ll coach and develop team members, manage performance, and goals and objectives. You will also partner with Minneapolis department management to work through Human Resource processes and issues.
*Strong preference for the candidate to be located in the Minneapolis office.
*This position will report to management at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and therefore, applications for this opening will be shared with management in that District.
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business administration, computer science, management information systems or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 8 years of broad technical experience in one or more phases of information technology and management information systems. Experience to include technical project management, leadership, supervision or management.
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, coaching and/or staff development skills; strong interpersonal skills; and demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
