As the Manager, Claims Administration you will be responsible for the functional management of the technical claims unit and the FNOL process.

A Day in the Life

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining efficient and accurate flow of the FNOL process for Insurance, Accident Direct and TPA Direct Customers through service escalation process ensuring SLA levels are maintained

  • Claims File SLA reporting and analysis, Performance reporting for the team and SLA adherence

  • Process and workflow refinement for the customer claims experience with the objective of reducing time for claim processing

  • Work closely with the Element Risk Solutions and Element Insurance management to provide feedback, guidance and support to continually improve the customer experience

  • Resourcing and People Leadership - Coach, develop and manage the team performance and productivity including hiring, performance management, training etc

  • Identify and align resources for their team to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for workload and service to customers and agents

  • Vendor Management- Coordinating with the TPA ensuring claims are processed within SLAs

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant claims management experience required with at least 1+ years of experience in people management

  • Previous client service or account management experience in accident management and/ or subrogation

  • Experience in KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency with claims management & reporting systems

  • Claims adjustor license in the US or Canada or in the process to obtain the license as it is a requirement of the role

The hiring base salary range for this position is $94,200 - $129,600 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
