Summary
This position will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training programs to individuals or teams in the principles, tools, and methodologies of project management systems. The role involves designing, developing, and conducting training sessions focused on various project management software tools, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery in IT environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Training Development and Delivery
Designs and develops engaging and interactive training materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids, etc.), including presentations, case studies, and exercises.
Conduct comprehensive training sessions, presentations and webinars on project management software, and tools.
Evaluate participants' progress through practical assessments to ensure learning objectives are achieved and adjust training content accordingly to ensure optimal training results.
Designs and conducts New Employee onboarding software training for core systems.
Assess training needs, applicable certification requirements, then design and conducts training sessions to fulfill the applicable requirements and/or needs.
Conduct large scale and one on one training as needed.
Provide end user training primarily for KA employees, and occasional training for external clients or design partners
Manage the IT training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
Serves as a subject matter expert for Core KA project management systems and will occasionally serve as a subject matter expert for sub system groups.
Technology Design and Functionality
Lead business system testing of product update and implementation
Act as key program contact for key KA systems.
Project Management
Continuously identify enhancement and process improvement techniques for technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
Monitor and recommend new technology programs to assess needs in our KA infrastructure.
Strong focus for continuous improvement by consistently designing and streamlining system processes for system changes.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in IT project management software, and ensure the training material reflects the current system standards, set-up and design.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, construction management or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in IT
3+ years of experience as a trainer or instructor, particularly in the area of IT project management.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools, ERM and CRM software.
Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PRINCE2, or ITIL are highly desirable.
Experience as a construction Project Management or Project Engineer
Other:
Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy.
