U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation is now operating as U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance All job postings listed under U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance reside within the USBCDC organization.

The Twin Cities Place-based Investing Program Manager position is part of the Business Impact Group (BIG) team within U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance (USBIF). BIG provides strategic support to product areas across USBIF and U.S. Bank to increase equitable access to capital and fulfill our racial equity agenda in the marketplace. U.S. Bank's Place-based Investing program is led and coordinated by BIG. The Program Manager will report to the Director of Community-based Investment Programs and will work closely with staff across USBIF and U.S. Bank.

The Program Manager position represents an exciting opportunity to lead U.S. Bank's nascent place-based investing strategy in the Twin Cities. Candidates will be able to combine their experience in banking and finance with a passion for impact investing and economic development in local communities that have been historically underinvested in.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • support marketplace strategy development for our place-based commitments.

  • coordinate activities across business lines in support of our place-based investing strategy.

  • interface with community partners and customers engaged in our place-based commitments

  • identify new investment opportunities and partnerships in the marketplace aligned with our business goals, U.S. Bank's Access Commitment, and USBIF's racial equity agenda.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically six to eight years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of the assigned business line and technical marketing skills

  • Strong product management, design and development skills

  • Thorough knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis

  • Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient financial and competitive analysis and computer skills

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
