Position Summary:
This position will be pivotal in supporting our project teams in conceptualizing and producing marketing materials for a variety of marketing campaigns, including web, digital, multi-media, print, and more. Under the guidance of the Manager of Marketing Proposals, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the complete process of defining requirements, visualizing, and consistently creating high-quality, cutting-edge graphics. This includes illustrations, images, layouts, and photography that align with Kraus-Anderson’s (KA) strategic plan and support project pursuit efforts. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business development managers, the director of operations, project managers, technical specialists, and other team members, to generate creative solutions from concept to completion across multiple platforms while ensuring high-quality material is delivered on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for consistently creating high-quality, cutting-edge marketing materials that conform to strategy and brand standards, including websites, proposals, slide decks, templates, brochures, advertisements, photography, and packaging.
Create visually engaging infographics that communicate complex information and data effectively.
Develop creative options and solutions quickly from concept to completion for multiple platforms while creating and delivering quality material on time.
Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines, maintaining brand voice, aesthetics, and values across all touchpoints.
Create illustrations, images, and other designs using Adobe Creative Suite.
Receive input from clients and internal creative team members on writing, illustration, photo selection, and other needs and integrate it into the final product.
Effectively meet deadlines while managing multiple projects with various stakeholders.
Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and departments.
Able to clearly communicate and present to leadership-level audiences.
Attend internal/external client meetings as needed.
Support other marketing initiatives and projects as assigned by the team lead.
Consistently executes projects with the highest personal and professional standards from start to finish.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
BA in art, graphics, other creative fields, or relevant degree.
Minimum 3 years of working on multi-platform marketing projects or 5 years of experience with some formal coursework/training.
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Must be a creative and collaborative thinker, have a strong ability to translate requirements into design, and be well-versed in the most current design and marketing trends, techniques, and programs.
Strong knowledgeable of print production standards and best practices for social media and web content.
Proactive and resourceful attitude, independently taking initiative and leadership.
Must have a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
Strong project management skills, including prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and working effectively under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
