Job Purpose and Impact

The Global TA Director - Digital Technology and Data is a highly strategic role responsible for leading the technology recruiting team in sourcing and recruiting digital technology and data talent globally, with focus on developing and executing complex global strategies to attract and hire top-tier digital technology and data professionals – ranging across early career roles to senior level positions. This role will be strategic and forward thinking, requiring extensive technology recruiting and talent acquisition strategy experience, including extensive experience in building relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, candidates and across the HR team. Comfort in ambiguity and ability to influence across a large global team will be critical to success. You will continuously develop top recruiting and advisory capabilities within the team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy including initiatives to attract, source, and hire top-tier digital technology and data professionals at all levels.

  • Lead the sourcing strategy and vision of attracting top talent with success and effectiveness, defining strategy, developing tools, and building global cohesion including proactive sourcing, recruitment marketing, employer branding, and diversity, equity and inclusion, and leading strategic capability development based on workforce plans and goals.

  • Identify and operationalize recruitment channels and techniques, including social media, networking events, and industry partnerships to attract passive candidates for key geographies and talent segments.

  • Lead improvement of the end-to-end talent acquisition processes and technology, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience, develop global talent acquisition policies, processes and legal requirements to align with local laws, regulations and company standards, and collaborate with Total Rewards team on compensation strategies to ensure market relevance in offers and monitor trends.

  • Partner with the global employer brand lead to develop and implement innovative talent attraction strategies, messaging, and campaigns.

  • Manage hiring efforts and lead the collaboration across early career/university and executive positions, strategies to ensure holistic goals and successful results.

  • Develop, report and influence robust metrics to measure talent acquisition's effectiveness and overall capability; identify trends, successes and areas of improvement for performance enhancements.

  • Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management for direct reports and their organization, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. Coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Confirmed experience in global talent acquisition strategy, candidate pipeline development, research and a variety of talent attraction and engagement methods, processes and tools

  • Confirmed experience in recruiting technology and tools as well as talent acquisition digital disruptive tools

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience recruiting within high performing and winning technical talent acquisition teams

  • 5+ years of leadership and proven ability of building high-performing and engaged global teams

  • Human resources or talent management certificate

  • Proven track record of successfully leading global talent acquisition strategy, candidate pipeline development, research, and execution across a variety of talent attraction and engagement methods, processes and tools for digital technology and data professionals

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders as well as influence key stakeholders across the organization

  • Experience leading a significant workforce transformation (ex. sizeable insourcing initiative)

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and other HR technology tools

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Adept with leveraging data to build KPIs/metrics, including determining, measuring, elevating, and monitoring performance on a regular basis; develop actions/strategies based on outcomes and story tell leveraging data
