Database Analyst


Operationally support all aspects of databases including SQL and cloud-based environments to complete standard DBA responsibilities and provide thought leadership on how to automate, improve or do another way for all activities in the database. Performance tuning and working with our customers to optimize all interactions between our systems and their applications.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computing, Computer Science, or related field, plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience with SQL Server utilizing HA Always On database deployments, to evaluate, recommend and perform database upgrades, changes, and patches seamlessly within the environment. 7 years of experience with various SQL replication solutions and industry best practices for highly available mission critical databases, special requirements and management of very large databases including partitioning options, file group placement and back up/recovery strategies, as well as placement and scheduling of backup and maintenance jobs within the database ecosystem. 7 years of experience troubleshooting end to end ecosystem including complex network, interfaces, additional hardware components/settings that could impact system availability and/or stability, working with customers, application development partners and other DBA team members to ensure that stringent back-up, recovery, and replication strategies are developed, tested, implemented, and maintained for development and production database environments.
