This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Minneapolis, MN location.

In this role, you will:

• Have a unique opportunity to leverage your data and analytics passion to challenge possible for a more sustainable future.

• Lead a team of data scientists and data analysts developing the next generation of AI and analytics capabilities using billions of data points that are continuously collected from hundreds of thousands of Thermo King units on vehicles in the Americas. These award-winning offerings give Thermo King’s customers actionable insights to improve uptime and operations efficiency, reducing costs and carbon emissions.

• Partner with Thermo King’s digital offerings leader to engage with customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders to understand the biggest opportunities to use these capabilities to help customers to improve uptime, efficiency, and sustainability.

• Define and evangelize the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan to deliver new data science and analytics capabilities to enable Thermo King’s customers and achieve our company purpose while enabling rapid growth.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase the velocity of delivery and quality of results.

• Lead delivery of AI and data product offerings following an Agile methodology.

• Ensure ongoing sustainment of AI and data product offerings by building, maintaining, and supporting reliable and robust solutions.

• Protect the company’s intellectual property through data governance leadership and active participation in IP protection protocols.

• Engage with Trane Technologies enterprise data & analytics leaders to align on processes, technologies, and roadmaps to enable ongoing success and leverage.

• Regularly report progress and learnings to key executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.

• 3 years of experience managing, motivating, and developing data science and analytics teams for high performance.

• 5 years of experience with data science and analytics technologies such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, AWS Redshift and Lambda, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

• 10 years of experience building and managing AI, data science, and analytics solutions, preferably SaaS-based customer offerings.

Base Pay Range: $168,900 – 224,100

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
