Citigroup Demand Management Specialist in Mexico City, Mexico

The CitiBanamex Platform Engineering & Operations (PE&O) function is primarily accountable for accelerating the adoption of the next generation platform across Citi’s Consumer banking in Mexico, focusing on automating developer and delivery processes through the use of next generation technologies, DevOps tool suites, and cloud technologies (both private and public). This team will ultimately enable developer efficiency, deliver telemetry for improved decision-making and continuous improvement, and optimize application release and infrastructure deployments to deliver optimal speed/time to market at best in class cost while minimizing Citi risk. All while continuing to foster the adoption of a true DevOps culture of tight integration between development and operations teams, automation and, continuous feedback and learning. The Demand Management Specialist (Demand Specialist) will be accountable for support PE&O’s demand of the estate in partnership with GCT’s Application Development teams, project management office and their CTI counterparts in Estate Planning. Demand Specialist is a strong contributor directly aligned with the Head of Demand Managment leadership. Responsibilities: Partner with business and development teams to identify engineering requirements and assist in defining application and system requirements and processes and maintain engineering relationships with the end user/client Ensure requirements/tasks from technology departments and/or end users are communicated to stakeholders Provide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements and consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOs Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles. Assist with training activities and mentor junior team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Work in conjunction with others members of PO&E to define and deliver solutions to best in class capabilities to achieve CitiBanamex required service levels at optimal cost, quality, and within CitiBanamex and regulatory risk expectations. Establishes good working relationships with GCT’s Application Development teams, project management office and their CTI counterparts in Estate Planning and communicates PO&E’s vision, expectations and alignment of priorities and timing. Drive accountability for the development, documentation, and maintenance of the assumptions supporting the PO&E supply/demand plan. Identify demand forecast risks and timely/proactive engagement of stakeholders on issues and risks and to develop effective structured and visible plans for mitigation of risks. Leads development of annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives in PO&E. Reponsable for identification, prioritization, and aggregation of all sources of demand in PO&E to support supply/demand planning. Monitor the demand plan performance by measuring actual vs. planned performance for PO&E and ensure implementation of root-cause corrective action to facilitate improvements. Participate in the development and evaluation of what-if scenarios (simulations) to resolve supply/demand imbalances. Schedule forecast review meetings with other members of the PE&O team on regular basis. Responsable for the coordination, prioritization and delivered results of improvements in the demand management process. Qualifications: 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment Project Management experience Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Proven track record of operational process change and improvement Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master’s degree preferred Technical Skills Highly experienced in demand management, procurement and supply processes involved in TI areas.  Can provide strategic proposals at Exec level with financial, forecasting and annual budget plans. Has experience working with large teams and as key stakeholder, preferable into the Banking and Financial Services brands.  Can lead small technical multidisciplinary teams, to achieve implemented and documented IT demand management solutions; coordination of technical meetings in English and Spanish language.  Can use modeling standards and follow agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban; has experience working with DevOps culture. Can elaborate capacity planning analysis. Highly experienced in demand management, procurement and supply processes involved in TI areas.  Can provide strategic proposals at Exec level with financial, forecasting and annual budget plans. Has experience working with large teams and as key stakeholder, preferable into the Banking and Financial Services brands.  Preffered: Experience in software and infrastructure design and delivery in large scale complex environment where legacy and digital technologies co-exist. Experience in the adoption/use of an agile methodology and the transition from or co-existence with traditional SDLC methods and tools.
