About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technician - Kitchen to join Engineering department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Checking and rectifying all the kitchen equipment of the property which reflects on the standard of the Hotel.
Ensure all the portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix.
Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & CWA’s and General Maintenance works are executed as directed by the Team Leaders.
Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and records.
Good all round skills / high standard.
To maintain the work area safe and tidy conditions.
Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and Procedures.
Basics of engineering drawings.
Ensure that the par level of all kitchen items are been maintained in the stores.
Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year experience as an Kitchen Technician or similar role in a hospitality environment
Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance, repairs and trouble shooting.
Knowledge in various trades like Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent experience would be an added value
Engineering certificate in related fields. At least 1 year formal training (certified).
Knowledge in computer based planned preventive maintenance
Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and work order system
Good English communication skills
