About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Technician - Kitchen to join Engineering department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Checking and rectifying all the kitchen equipment of the property which reflects on the standard of the Hotel.

  • Ensure all the portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix.

  • Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & CWA’s and General Maintenance works are executed as directed by the Team Leaders.

  • Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and records.

  • Good all round skills / high standard.

  • To maintain the work area safe and tidy conditions.

  • Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and Procedures.

  • Basics of engineering drawings.

  • Ensure that the par level of all kitchen items are been maintained in the stores.

  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management


About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 year experience as an Kitchen Technician or similar role in a hospitality environment

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance, repairs and trouble shooting.

  • Knowledge in various trades like Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent experience would be an added value

  • Engineering certificate in related fields. At least 1 year formal training (certified).

  • Knowledge in computer based planned preventive maintenance

  • Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and work order system

  • Good English communication skills
