Job Description

  • Under direct supervision coordinates and performs a variety of communication and secretarial functions on the patient care unit. Acts as the receptionist to patients, visitors, physicians and other hospital personnel.

Hours: Per-Diem / 3pm-11pm

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High Graduate diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

5-10 years of related experience required.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Excellent interpersonal, phone and organizational skills required. Must be able to work with detailed, confidential material and to work independently. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
