Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a part-time (16+ hours/week) inpatient position at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, part of the Tufts Medicine System, in Medford, MA .

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide exceptional nutrition care to geriatric behavioral health patients in the inpatient setting;

• work rotating weekends and as needed at Melrose Wakefield Hospital providing general inpatient coverage;

• serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in rounds, group education classes/support groups, committees and/or community outreach events as needed;

• participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;

• be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and

• efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
