This role focuses on supporting the education and development of employees or students by developing education, curricula, materials, and programs to support educational growth. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Higher Education duties: Works directly with clinical and academic staff to design and deliver academic and clinical education. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. An experienced level role that applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Works independently with general supervision, problems faced are difficult but typically not complex, and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
Job Overview

Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant field of health sciences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level.
Demonstrated expertise in a specific area of health sciences through research and or publications.

Conducts instructional sessions in health sciences, using effective teaching methods and techniques.
Develops course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials that align with program objectives and learning outcomes.
Facilitates engaging classroom discussions, promotes critical thinking, and fosters an inclusive learning environment.
Delivers lectures, lead demonstrations, and facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
Assesses student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback and grades in a timely manner.
Maintains accurate records of attendance, assignments, and grades.
Stays updated with advancements in health sciences to incorporate current research and industry trends into instructional materials.
Collaborates with program coordinators and faculty to ensure curriculum alignment and consistent program delivery.
Provides guidance and support to students, addressing their academic needs and concerns.
Participates in student advising and mentoring activities, assisting students with academic and career-related guidance.
Participates in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and curriculum development initiatives.
Adheres to academic policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Engages in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject matter expertise.
Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects diversity and promotes student success.
Contributes to the development and revision of course materials, including textbooks, handouts, and online resources.
Stays accessible to students and responds to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and supportive manner.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Visual and hearing acuity within the normal range.
Manual dexterity needed to operate computer and office equipment.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
