CVS Health Sr Business Consultant in Maryland

Job Description

The position requires expert knowledge of project management skills and organization, business requirements, care management models, workflow, policy, and procedures to ensure team performs successfully. Accountable for designing conceptual models, initiative planning, outlining business results and ongoing communication for high value initiatives of moderate scale and complexity. Responsible for providing guidance and direction to team members and/or matrixed staff as required in support of initiatives. May be responsible for concurrent initiatives.*Has to be able to work 8am - 5pm Eastern Time.

Required Qualifications

• Drives development of holistic solutions and/or key strategic plans • Responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of portfolio of program initiatives to address the needs of members who are receiving services along the continuum of care. • Lead and participates in Enterprise efforts (such as Clinical Platform processes, Utilization Management and Clinical Program Design, etc.) representing Commercial Care Management operational considerations • Integrates baseline and metrics tracking into initiative planning and execution • Presents findings and recommended clinical actions to Commercial Care Management leadership and works collaboratively to resolve issues and improve performance and clinical outcomes • Drives, tracks and communicates progress of initiatives• Able to lead and facilitate gathering of business requirements, and to articulate for use with analytic and technology teams• Drives or guides engagement using a disciplined repeatable methodology• Facilitates work sessions including needed analysis, reporting and presentation materials• Executive presence, demonstrated proficiency in team leadership and motivation• Exhibits the following Employee Behaviors• Must have 7+ years experience with several of the following methodologies: program management, business process consulting, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting.• Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large-scale initiatives with high degree of complexity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.• Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience.• Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.


College degree.• Masters degree preferred, but not required.
