Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning is a key member of the Human Resources leadership team, assisting Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) Leadership with meeting strategic business and operational goals for MCHS. This position is responsible for the strategic direction, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of staffing services, coordinated with learning and organizational development. This individual will report directly to the Vice President, Human Resources and also works closely with the Medical Director, Division of Education regarding workforce development and planning issues. The Director of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning provides leadership to recruiting functions and development of the highest levels of workforce talent and competence in the areas of people management, change management, operational effectiveness and service excellence.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.

Preferred/Optional: Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Ten years’ of relevant progressive human resources experience, including the areas of recruitment and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Five years’ of Human Resources (HR) management experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) awarded by the HR Certification Institute or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‐CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‐SCP) awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
