The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a USAC Network Program Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading projects and programs to deploy Network and Telecom technologies and services for hundreds of locations across North America as part of the Global Network and Telecom Services group

  • Implementing best practice and process improvement for the teams and stakeholders responsible for delivering Network and Telecom project and programs

  • Determining risks and challenges that may impact programs and projects, proactively proposes and executes actions to mitigate or avoid risks appropriately

  • Supporting agile implementation teams, project managers and other program managers by determining the schedules and resourcing needed to successfully deliver programs and projects, leveraging best practice, and providing coaching and mentoring to others as appropriate

  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours on critical project activities

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Ten (10) years of project management in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Three (3) years program management experience in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Experience of project procurement and financing practices and strategies

  • Knowledge and experience working with Agile teams and Scale Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe)

  • Vendor Management Experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution

  • Fifteen (15) plus years of project management and 5 years program management in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Knowledge of current 3M IT systems, processes and practices and current 3M project procurement and financing practices and strategies

  • Skills and experience of communicating and working remote international teams

  • Experience of implementing, managing and improving managed service solutions and partners

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
