As a Digital Software Development Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Contributing to the development of state-of-the-art software technology platforms utilizing Microsoft and Cloud technologies for the use in the dental and healthcare market globally.
Being an active member of high performing software development and systems engineering teams in an agile environment.
Contributing to cross-functional teams with customers to identify opportunities and integrate with newly emerging technologies across 3M Healthcare.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement
Four (4) years of developing commercial web applications in a Microsoft environment in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Four(4+) years of developing commercial web applications in a Microsoft environment in a private, public, government or military environment.
Experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET Core platform
Experience with Microsoft Azure development
Experience with Microsoft SQL or similar development experience
Demonstrated skills in software engineering methodology including documentation, configuration management, verification and validation, and commercialization
Work location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
