Global Procurement - Capex Manager

The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs the Global Procurement - Capex Manager (reporting to Global Procurement Category Lead - CAPEX), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. • Overall Leadership

• Lead and further develop the category area and assigned sub categories

• Coach the team to meet current and future growing business expectations

• Participate in the development and execution of the transformation journey.

• Secure financial benefits, cost savings and contribution to the revenue growth, and other added values

• Communication & Influencing

• Communication with and influencing a complex ecosystem of stakeholders, business owners and 3rd party suppliers

• Working with various colleagues on all levels including Presidents & Senior Vice Presidents, in our organization.

• ESG/Sustainability & Diversity in the supply chain

• Contribute to strategic approach and embedding Sustainability and Diversity in the Services supplier base

• Be ambassador of the overall ESG agenda.

• Partnerships & Innovation

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues in the Global Sourcing team

• Build strong relationships with strategic and critical suppliers and drive supplier innovation

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

• Five (5) years of experience in sourcing/procurement with increasing leadership responsibilities

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• This individual must demonstrate the ability to assume senior-level leadership and project management responsibilities for developing the global category organization.

• Strong track record of developing and implementing a strategic sourcing strategy that aligns with broader business objectives, resulting in significant operational improvements and service benefits for the organization.

• Transformational leadership experience, building and leading a diverse team across multiple markets.

• Comfortable in a matrix environment where relationship building and influence management is required.

• Demonstrable influencing skills and senior stakeholder management (with credibility up to CxO level)

• Energy, pace and an impeccable track record of delivery

Travel: up to 10% domestic and international

Relocation: Is not authorized

Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center )

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
