The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleTechnology, Transformation and Services (TTS) is seeking an ERP Controls Specialist to lead key controls and compliance related activities tied to the Accelerated ERP Deployment program (including S/4). As an ERP Controls Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading an assortment of controls and compliance activities that are critical to successful business transformation and deployment activities.

  • Reviewing business processes and technical processes for emerging risks tied to the Accelerated ERP deployment Program

  • Partnering closely with the Product and Process teams identify and mitigate risks across the different E2E process areas (PTD, MTC, and Support)

  • Developing and managing controls functional testing activities in HPALMC.

  • Working closely with IT Risk Management team to ensure clear alignment of controls and control effectiveness.

  • Leading risk mitigation by interfacing with external audit, internal audit, and the global process organizations.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) combined years of experience in Audit/Finance and/or working on major ERP implementation projects in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Previous Experience in controls and compliance related functions

  • Experience in one or multiple Product/Process teams with Support, PTD, MTC portfolios

  • Previous experience working on an SAP S/4 deployment program

  • Ability to work with multiple end-to-end process teams

  • Ability to work across multiple releases at the same time

  • Technical background or ability to interact with technical teams

  • Ability to work with ambiguity and across functions

  • Ability to adapt communication style to intended audience

Location: Maplewood, MN or will consider remote US work location

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
