Position description This position plays a unique role by serving as a partner to leaders in SWMN and providing accurate data and analysis to help drive the success of each practice. Understands and considers both the business and the technical needs of all customers, with the goal of providing a quality product or process that meets the business objective. This position utilizes data analysis, reporting and database management skills in support of internal and external analysis, information needs and institutional metrics and dashboard reporting. Handles moderately and highly complicated data requests from multiple data sources. Approaches data with an inquisitive mind and answers questions not originally asked, but helpful to the practice. Works in partnership with stakeholders to develop a solid knowledge base of business needs. Builds credibility, rapport and partnerships with others to understand their needs. Responsible for educating new users regarding the appropriate use and interpretation of the data and/or development and enhancement of the reporting systems/databases. Customer service, effective communication (both written and oral), ability to function independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines are essential functions of the Practice Analyst. Expert level Microsoft Excel skills or knowledge of Microsoft SQL, R Studio or other data languages preferred. Familiarity of those programs required, along with a willingness to expand on those skills within this role.

This role will have a hybrid schedule of on-site presence at our Mankato, MN campus and remote work. Qualifications This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least four years of related data analysis and reporting experience or related healthcare related field OR Masters and 2 years of related data analysis and reporting experience or related healthcare related field.

Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,518.40, based on a full-time position.
