Key Deliverables

  • Ensure that all employee personal data is managed within legal guidelines, diplomacy and with discretion.

  • Proactively look for ways of improving and enhancing the Payroll administrative service offering to both staff and the business.

  • Ensure that Payroll General Ledger transactions are processed on a timely and accurately manner.

  • Project manage various projects related to improving or growing the Payroll process.

  • Ensure that any queries/requests related to Payroll will be addressed on a timely manner.

  • Ensure high customer service standards in all elements of the work.

Workstream/Line Management responsibilities

  • Manage Payroll general ledger, including oversight of the Payroll Chart of Accounts, conducting reporting and analysis as required.

Liaise with Finance in troubleshooting issues pertaining to general ledger postings. Partner in identifying process and/or system enhancements.

  • Partner with HRIT to ensure that the Fusion interface is working appropriately to reduce manual intervention.

  • Partner with Payroll Vendor on any testing needed for CR’s etc.

  • Manage data and reporting requests from stakeholders, etc. esp. on those related to previous years wage statements and records.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement as it relates to payroll, general ledger and data processes.

  • Responsible for dealing or escalating routine enquires either by post or telephone.

  • To provide assistance with HR activities as directed by the HR Business Partners and HR Director.

  • Work with other HR Administrators to ensure we have a consistent approach in managing our systems and practices, updating the team as appropriate.

  • Assist employees in any HR concerns via calls and emails not just payroll related concerns.

  • Assist in carrying out audits.

  • To provide support to the rest of the PPS teams as directed.

Participate in HR / Payroll projects as requested by your Manager and Director.
