Our Finance Transformation Delivery Group aims to provide Pearson with end-to-end transformation, change, and project services to deliver key strategic initiatives. We act as trusted advisors to senior sponsors and provide robust support to ensure leaders are able to make effective decisions and deliver transformational change. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Finance Change Lead. The responsibilities of the role will include managing the day-to-day activities and providing guidance on processes.

What you can expect:

Responsibilities can vary depending on the project status, but generally, the Finance Change Lead is responsible for the following:

  • Establish and enforce project management methodologies, standards, and processes.

  • Define and maintain project management policies, procedures, and templates.

  • Ensure all controls are being effectively managed across the programme

  • Ensure that project managers are identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.

  • Facilitate the resolution of project issues and conflicts.

  • Ensure cross-programme dependencies are managed and the dependencies accurately maintained.

  • Ensure efficient change control methods and process are utilised

What we expect:

  • Proven background in project management methodologies and project planning

  • Previous experience working in Finance and using oracle is highly desirable

  • Experienced in risk management, issue resolution and quality assurance.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with the ability to network and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills for assessing project performance, identifying issues, and proposing solutions.
