Corporate Finance Credit Risk Officer in Manila, Philippines

Overview:

Do you have a passion for detecting risks and handling escalations to support Accounts Receivable? If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team! We're currently seeking a dynamic Credit Risk Officer to aid Pearson and elevate our brand to new heights.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and promptly escalate potential risks and issues requiring attention.

  • Aid in managing Pearson's bad debt provision by generating reports and ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.

  • Analyze the relevant industry and financial condition of borrowers, assessing risk factors and providing mitigating recommendations.

  • Prepare and submit credit assessment reports to the approver, recommending and/or adjusting limits based on financial analysis and gathered information

About you:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, ideally within the Order-to-Cash function with a focus on credit risk management.

  • Strong understanding of audit and SOX compliance.

  • Ability to craft detailed and thorough credit assessment reports in Excel or other financial system
