System One; currently working with a client who are actively seeking to hire aDirector of Operations (Investment Services)based out of theOrlando, FLgeographical location starting ASAP!

Candidates must have a background in financial services, specifically investment operational services.


  • Director of Retail Operations will be responsible for the personnel and process management of all operational teams through the managers and/or team leaders of the respective teams. These operations include account opening and closing, funding, buying, and selling transactions including real estate, loans, private placements, and a variety of “one-off” unique purchases. These must be completed not only to specific procedural guidelines, but also within strict time requirements. All activities are to ensure an excellent customer experience, while providing a desirable employee environment. A strong mentoring and personnel development focus is needed. The three unique services that we strive to provide our clients is Simplicity, Responsiveness, and a Relationship. You will be leading a team of over 30, including managers, leads, and service professionals.


  • Leadership and oversight of operational departments

  • Policy changes as necessary, organizational planning and strategy decisions

  • Significant contributions at weekly executive team meeting

  • Oversee production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

  • Update and maintain business processes to ensure consistency and accuracy

  • Proficiency to the requirements of a self-directed IRA Custodian and recordkeeper, ensuring that the department is in compliance.

  • Identify ways to improve operations through realignment of tasks, and through the optimization of technology.

  • Manage the operational budgets to achieve the goals of the company


  • Align with the sales staff to ensure that what is marketed and promised is delivered

  • Constantly look for ways for the company to separate from its’ competitors based on high-level customer experience

  • Build and improve on the existing team culture


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • 5-10 year of successful operational leadership experience with employee management

  • 3+ Years Financial operations experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Embrace and live the company’s core values

  • Customer Service leadership experience in a high-volume environment
