S&P Global Dealer Relations Representative in London, Ontario

The Dealer Relations Representative will embody this philosophy and act as the bridge between automotiveMastermind and our dealer partners. The Dealer Relations Representative is a Retention and Account Management position who builds strong relationships, solves problems and works closely with dealers to understand their needs. This role requires collaboration within the team and with different teams, attention to detail, professionalism and confidence in working directly with owners and upper management of our dealer partners.

A Successful Dealer Relations Representative Will:

  • Be responsible for Virtual Support of our Incentive Advantage and Remote-Supported Products for a portfolio of dealerships throughout the United States

  • Conduct monthly KDM Meeting to review ROI, marketing settings and discounts

  • Execute launch planning, manage the product implementation, and deliver initial and ongoing training to meet the needs of the dealers in their area through regular monthly performance visits

  • Be the first point of contact for our Dealer Partners, handle issues and follows up on those that have been escalated

  • Bring best practice knowledge of the product into the client organization to support the company’s value proposition to its dealerships

  • Have an in-depth understanding of the product functionality and related services as well as an overview of the technical functionality to train effectively and communicate appropriate usage

  • Serve multiple markets and report into the Senior Director, Commercial Operations

  • Participate in team meetings, best practices (playbooks) and overall skill development exercises

Who you are:

  • 2+ years professional experience working in sales or account management with background in automotive retail

  • Significant experience working with CRM tools and are at ease with technology

  • Think quickly on your feet and handle ambiguity

  • Communicate well both orally and in writing and demonstrate business and financial acumen in your daily work

  • Know how to establish rapport and develop meaningful relationships with your clients

  • Negotiate effectively, finding the win-win solution to problems

  • Proactively solicit feedback, ask clarifying questions, and resolve issues in a non-confrontational way

  • Ability to perform as part of a larger team and work independently to schedule and prioritize your work

  • Regularly assess your own performance and adapt your work to achieve better results

Where you will be:

This position is based in our London, ON office. We work a hybrid work schedule with a current minimum of two teamwide designated day in the office.
