LSEG Reward Director, Capital Markets & Post Trade in London, United Kingdom
The Reward Director provides value-added leadership and support to Capital Markets and Post Trade divisions globally, in all areas of compensation, policy and planning; including program development, implementation and communication within the context of LSEG Total Reward Strategy. The Reward Partnering team is responsible for the delivery of reward programs and support to the business via the provision of value added advice on all aspects of reward through both a divisional and a regional focus. We also ensure that the voice of the customer is heard and incorporated into the development and delivery of reward programs.
Strategy & Decision Making
Develop and execute operational reward strategy within division/functions.
Advise the businesses on LSEG reward strategy and ensure effective delivery of enterprise-wide Reward programs and processes.
Ensure compliance with LSEG reward guidelines, minimising division/function exceptions and ensuring genuine cases are documented and approved
Partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and contribute to development of Reward Programs that align with enterprise architecture.
Drive solutions that are supported by value-added analysis.
Present reward initiatives credibly by keeping appraised of market developments.
Provide input on resolving key Reward issues and concerns within the division/functions and proactively recommend process improvements.
Work with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and ensure that business-specific needs are taken into account within reward solutions. Negotiate with business customers and leaders to set reward priorities and to develop innovative solutions.
Deliver core enterprise reward processes (e.g. ACP, Promotions, AIP) ensuring effective planning, communication and implementation.
In conjunction with senior colleagues, develop and deliver dashboards and key reward analytics to inform business processes and guide stakeholders on implications of decisions (e.g. program level changes).
Understand specific union, works councils or similar agreements that may impact annual pay negotiations and other reward-related activities and programs.
Drive excellent customer service for reward customers by focusing on efficiency, simplicity and communication
Deliver reward training and education programs for HR and the business, providing customer insight and guidance on most appropriate delivery methods.
Provide general compensation guidance, education and advice.
Key Experience and Skills
Compensation expertise with experience in leading projects and delivering reward programs
Commercial acumen and understanding of legal environment and financial planning processes
Relevant regulatory and compliance knowledge for UK and EU as it applies to remuneration
Proven ability to drive tasks through to completion (execution)
People management experience
Degree/Master’s degree preferably in Human Resources Management, Business or any related field
Ability to establish credibility and build relationships with business leaders, senior executives
Ability to identify important issues and identify substantiated solutions
Ability to develop new insights into solutions that result in and promote organizational improvements (process, product)
Must be collaborative, with ability to work in partnership with peers and colleagues Reward/Compensation community as well as HR. Must be able to contribute to work within the broader reward team and partner across reward and HR functions. Must be highly responsive and have a sense of urgency.
