Responsibilities

We have a new opportunity for a Radiographer to join our dedicated team.

Mayo Clinic is a global leader in medical care. Our doctors practice the art of care, not just the science of medicine. They take the time needed to perform unhurried, comprehensive and thoughtful evaluations and consultations, making sure patients understand every step of their care.

The Radiographer will provide a customer-focused, high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users. The Radiographer will strive for and maintain the best standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiency for our users at all times. The Radiographer will be expected to rotate through other modalities (ie. CT, MRI, iDXA, plain film, ultrasound and mammography) as needed.

This position is located in London. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.K.. Relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:

Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent; Evidence of a post graduate experience.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications:

Desired skills include Cardiac CT, MRI and CT experience; CT colonography experience; PGD awareness; CoR approved injection qualification; Plain film competence with DR systems. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required. Prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. Demonstrated autonomy and excellent critical thinking skills. Experience in private healthcare preferred. Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Must be fluent in English.

Licensure/Certification Required:

Current Registration with the HCPC; additional speciality certification/training as required.
